We are currently hiring on behalf of a well-established financial services provider in the Gulf region, seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This is a full-time, remote opportunity open to senior finance leaders located within the EMEA region.

About the Role

As CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company, including strategic planning, budgeting, risk management, and financial reporting. You will play a key role in shaping the company’s financial strategy, ensuring compliance, and supporting sustainable growth in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function including accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax, and compliance.
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s overall objectives.
• Oversee preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts for executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure full compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.
• Provide financial insight and recommendations to support decision-making across departments.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks while maximizing profitability and operational efficiency.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, regulators, banks, and investors.
• Mentor and lead finance team members, fostering a culture of accountability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA/ACCA preferred).
• 10+ years of senior financial leadership experience, ideally in the financial services or fintech industry.
• Strong strategic mindset with a proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and scaling operations.
• Expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and regulatory frameworks across EMEA and Gulf markets.
• Experience with remote team management and cross-functional collaboration.
• High level of integrity, analytical ability, and business acumen.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
