Description
• To ensure the smooth and efficient operations in the department through prompt effective and proper reservations service, to achieve maximum room revenue in order to meet or exceed the revenue target
• To ensure that software and other technology are used to their maximum potential for database and administration and reservations procedures.
• Having knowledge of entire reservation procedure according to company system.
• To ensure excellent communication with key travel planners, decision makers and company
• Review reservation booked daily,
• Review arrival report daily,
• Liase with Sales Department in regards to occupancy, Rates reservation's analysis
• Responsible for implementation of policies and procedure.
• Responsible for recording Company/Travel agent rates both in system and correspondence file.
• Responsible for Hotels Reservations in the assigned areas.
• Allocate daily task to reservations staff
• Identify top producing Accounts ensure proper recognition by reservation staff.
• Knowledgeable in Hotel and guest room facilities/service and ensure reservations agents are equally knowledgeable.
• Monitoring Telephone Manner and General performance of reservation staff daily.
Ensure special handling of repeats guest and very VIP guest.
• Monitor and Coordinates group reservations activity with the Sales Department.
• Follows up tentative booking and update reservations status.
*Review no-show and cancelled reservations and processes charged according to hotel policy
• Review room blocking for long stay, suites and special group request.
• Supervising of Group Reservations.
• Maintain cordial relation with commercial clients.
*Inform the involved department when the hotel availability status be changed and prepare for necessary action.
*Responsible for maintaining a Neat and orderly position at all times.
