Job Opportunity: Camp Manager at Tortilis Tanzania

Tortilis Tanzania is seeking an experienced and dedicated Camp Manager to oversee operations at our camps located in Tarangire, Manyara, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti national parks.

Duties, Responsibilities, and Performance Standards

• Communicate with the reservation department regarding clients’ arrival and departure.
• Greet and brief clients with basic information about the camp, managing client services during their stay.
• Work together with other staff and management in a smooth, safe, and harmonious manner to ensure clients have a memorable stay at the camp.
• Inspect client rooms, public areas, and grounds for cleanliness and appearance.
• Oversee assigned duties of staff to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with set rules.
• Coordinate back-of-house activities at the camp, such as maintenance and asset management.
• Manage the movement of staff according to company policy.
• Produce weekly and monthly reports of camp progress to the Operations Manager or head office.

General Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
• Previous experience working in camps will be highly valued.
• Education in Hospitality and Hotel Management is preferable.
• Good English-speaking skills, leadership abilities, guest-oriented approach, and strong communication skills.
