Position : SBU Head

Location: Tanzania

Reporting to : Director

Job Objective :

 

Responsible for sales revenue of the segment and function as a Profit centre. Product development, making strategy for market & business growth and improving price realization / profitability across product range. Strong -customer network and contacts in key industrial segments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

·      Coordinates efforts by establishing procurement, production, marketing, field, and technical services policies and practices.

·      Ability to anticipate and identify changing market trends.

·      Pro-active and effective communicator with strong team leadership and negotiation capabilities.

·      Strong focus on systems & processes and in making sales reporting efficient and effective.

·      Keeping a tab on the market developments including gathering market Intelligence on competitor activities.

·      To formulate business plans and execute the same as per the laid down sales strategy Own and drive the Sales Targets.

·      Strong customer network and contacts in key industrial segments

·      Improve  the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission Specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business Process and organizational planning.

·      Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team.

·       Play a Significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.

·       Management of agency budget in coordination with the Executive Director.

·       Builds company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices.

·       Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

·       Maintains professional and technical  knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state - of - the – art practices; participating in professional societies .

·       Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
