Role:Business Development Manager (Crypto Exchange)
Salary: $3,000-$6,000+ Base (DoE, Heavy Commission Structure)
Location: Remote (Ideally Europe)
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team and drive the growth phase of our brand-new Centralised Crypto exchange. As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing our go-to-market strategy in the European region. You will be responsible for user acquisition, generating trading volume, and establishing strategic partnerships to position our exchange as a leading player in the crypto industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to drive the growth of our Centralised Crypto exchange in the European market.
- Identify and engage with potential users, partners, and key stakeholders to establish strategic relationships and drive user acquisition.
- Leverage your deep knowledge and experience in the crypto industry to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns and initiatives that attract and retain users.
- Drive trading volume by implementing innovative strategies to enhance user engagement, liquidity, and market participation.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in the European crypto market, and use this information to refine our business strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and marketing to optimize the user experience, identify product enhancements, and implement effective promotional activities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and market trends to ensure our exchange remains competitive and compliant.
- Represent our company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and establish our exchange as a trusted player in the market.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in finance or blockchain/crypto-related fields are a plus.
- Proven track record of success in a business development or similar role within the crypto industry, with a strong focus on user acquisition and generating trading volume within a crypto exchange.
- Deep understanding of the European crypto market, including knowledge of market trends, regulations, and competitive landscape.
- Strong network of contacts and relationships within the crypto industry, including users, influencers, investors, and potential partners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate and build mutually beneficial relationships.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze market data, identify opportunities, and develop effective strategies to drive business growth.
- Results-oriented mindset with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing and evolving industry.
- Proficiency in English. Knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
