About the job

We are #hiring on behalf of our client in the Petroleum & Gas industry for a Business Development Manager.

Qualification: Bachelor degree in Marketing or any other related field

Experience: 4 years of working experience.

Main Duties;

  • Performing their duties develop and implement action plans for achieving Sales targets.
  • Being defence for quality control when the item manufactured leaves the plant. They communicate with other departments or parts of the plant to make sure everything runs smoothly.
  • The other role is to build, developing and Manage profitable business revenue, rapport with corporate and retail clients so as to ensure optimum customer acquisition, retention and income generation from sales and revenue collection Management.
  • ‘Best in Class’ Relationship Management with Corporates – ‘Strengthening TP’s brand in the corporate and retail arena.
  • To generate Revenue Pools for the TP through Corporate and retail sales
  • Ensuring timely delivery of all products-leading to customer satisfaction, and advisory service to new and existing Corporate and retail Customers.
  • Build strategic plan for Sales and Marketing of TP products (V-GAS)
  • To manage the development of prudently Sales of TP product (V-GAS) with long term liable and reputable companies and organizations in order to ensure business maximum profitability.
  • To identify and develop a target pipeline and aggressively market for new profitable status customers from the identified target sectors.
  • Provide and enter into contract with clients
  • Manage key customer relationships through regular contacts and physical visits by ensuring the effective call program is maintained on all assigned and prospect customers.
  • Maintain high professional standards to provide a quality services, follow ups and competitive sales approach to clients
  • Cultivate good rapport with corporate and retail clients and ensure, our product (V-GAS) becomes their No.1 choice.
  • Continuously identify and exploit cross-selling opportunities that embed the TP and its associate products with customer needs
  • Establish quality profit-earning customer relationship within the target market
  • Ensure compliance from the time customer issues an order up to the level of delivery, to make sure all set standards and procedures in dealings with existing and potential customers are in place.
  • Creating, organizing and conducting Marketing programs and tools i.e. Promotion, Advertisements, Interviews, promotions Material
  • Mentoring junior members of the team.

RISK MANAGEMENT & OPERATIONAL CONTROL IN SALES AND MARKETING.

  • Maintain strong control of production, gas wastage, dispatch, inventory system, empty cylinders movement, and cultivate correct report.
  • Maintain a high standard of Sales and Marketing operational control including adherence to Risk Management and Compliance guidelines.
  • Keeping updated with Group SOP’s guidelines for its internal policies and procedures to mitigate business loss and fraud within the TP.
  • Gathering reliable information that is needed to make a decision when we recruit new client in order to manage customer expectations.
  • Collect and analyze data (demographic, preference, need and habits to identify potential Market and factors that direct or indirect affecting the strategy of Sales & Marketing operations
  • Preparing and submit Sales and Marketing report, daily, weekly and monthly, quarterly and annual.
  • Report to Management/ Board the status of Business leads, customer complaints, pending issues in respect of the clients.
  • Mentoring junior members of the team and Sales distribution to ensure adherence to all standards procedures and commitment to their responsibilities
  • Monitoring and control movement of cylinders and collection of empty cylinders
