Business Development Manager in our office in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining connections with business clients to drive sales. Duties include meeting with clients in-person to discuss new products or services, resolving clients’ issues on products or services to preserve relationships and communicating with other departments about maximizing client experiences.
Responsibilities
- Opportunity identification, Leads Generation and Sales Lifecycle Management,
- Develop an account growth strategy focusing on identifying new business areas and new service lines
- Initiate sales for FX products by calling and or/emailing leads
- Source prospective clients through referrals
- Follow up on all prospects via phone calls and emails
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients via telephone, email and/or face to face meeting
- Maintain leads in an organized manner
- Ensure during training, all attendees have demo/live/approved/ funded accounts.
- Ensure client conversion. (Self or sales lead clients)
- In charge of Out of Home, Activations, workshops, seminars, initiatives in specific region.
- Build and improve relationships with customers and partners.
- Monitor and execute sales goals, team strategy, initiatives, and campaigns to meet sales goals.
- Serve as a key driving force in analyzing market trends and accordingly develop sales plans to increase brand awareness, market share, and partner relationships,
- Grow and develop business for revenue generation through the satellite offices
- Gather and analyze data to ascertain conversion issues and liaise with HOE to generate educational content to improve conversion
Skills & Competencies
- Proven track record in revenue growth management strategies.
- Small and mid-size business funding experience is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with CRM software.
- In-depth understanding of the sales administration process.
- Excellent interpersonal and team management skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- 3+ Years in a sales management capacity.
