Job Description

Key Roles Include but not limited to;

1. New Business Development and Partner Ecosystem Development

·         Prospect for potential new local and international clients/partners and turn this into increased business.

·         Cold call as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Visit and meet potential clients and partners by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your people network.

·         Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.

·         Sourcing for new clients and partners and building effective business relationships with them

·         Plan approaches and pitches. Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.

·         Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion. Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.

·         Respond to client business enquiries, and forward technical issues to IT staff.

·         Respond to Mobile Network Operator enquiries.

·         Customize solutions for clients and draft agreements.

·         Respond to Expression of Interest and tenders.

Client Retention

  • Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
  • Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs in a timely manner
  • Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.
  • Business Development Planning
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
  • Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services that will lead to an increase in sales.
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop ONFON’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.

Marketing 

  • Coordinating and developing marketing campaigns and promotions
  • Devising and presenting ideas and strategies
  • Managing websites and social media
  • Tracking of marketing adverts on all media and performance reporting
  • Monitoring marketing and promotion performance

Key deliverables

  • Generate new business from Enterprise Business portfolio as per set targets
  • Retain existing clients whilst maintain revenue growth of 20% annually

Education 

·         Degree in Business related course e.g.  Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, Business IT

Knowledge and Experience

  • At least three years’ experience in technology and business development
  • Knowledge of MS Office
