JOB SUMMARY
The Branch Manager is responsible for leading, coordinating, and overseeing the daily operations of the logistics branch to ensure service excellence and operational efficiency. This role ensures alignment with corporate objectives and compliance with industry standards, while driving growth and maintaining client satisfaction.

The Branch Manager will manage cross-functional teams, control operational workflows, optimize resource utilization, and ensure the delivery of efficient and cost-effective logistics solutions. Reporting directly to the Regional Operations Manager, the Branch Manager plays a strategic role in expanding market presence and achieving profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities
 Operational Oversight:
Oversee end-to-end logistics and supply chain activities within the branch. Ensure effective dispatch, delivery, and transportation management.
Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance service delivery.
• Staff Supervision and Leadership:
Supervise, train, and evaluate branch personnel performance. Foster a positive and accountable team environment.
Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
 Client Relationship Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for high-value clients and resolve escalated issues promptly.
Strengthen client relationships and monitor customer satisfaction levels.
• Financial and Budgetary Management:
Monitor branch budget, control operational expenses, and ensure cost efficiency. Prepare and submit financial reports and forecasts to head office.
• Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with logistics regulations, health and safety standards, and internal policies.
Identify and mitigate operational risks.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to delivery timelines, service quality, and cost control.
Provide weekly/monthly operational reports to upper management.
• Business Development:
Identify growth opportunities within the region.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to expand the branch’s client base.

Personal Specifications
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

Key Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma with experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business
Administration, or related field.
– Master’s Degree or professional certification in logistics/supply chain (preferred).

Competencies:
– Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
– Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
– High proficiency in ERP and logistics management systems.
– Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
