We are looking for a skilled and experienced Beekeeper who will be responsible for the care and management of bees and their hives.

• This includes tasks such as inspecting the hives for signs of disease, ensuring that the bees have enough food and water, and removing honey from the hives
• The person shall maintain and manages colonies of honeybees for the production of honey as well as to provide pollination services
• Also will be responsible for construction of hives, replace combs and collects and package any hive products including honey, beeswax, pollen and removing hive parasites.

• Certificate or diploma in Beekeeping and related discipline
• Proven work experience in beekeeping of at least one year using modern hives
• Knowledge of plant and animal biology will be added advantage
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
• Basic woodworking skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Ability to work remote areas and at flexible hours
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
