JOB DETAILS:
Gaming Board of Tanzania (GBT) is a public gaming regulatory institution established under the Gaming Act No. 4 of 2003. Its main functions are to oversee, monitor, and regulate the conduct of gaming activities in Tanzania. GBT is seeking to recruit qualified and competent Tanzanians to fill the following job positions:
ASSISTANT SUPPLIES OFFICER – (1 Post)
Qualifications:
• Holder of a Master’s Degree in Laws, Economics, Gaming, Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration or Information and Communication Technology, with at least seven years of relevant working experience, five of which must be in senior management position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• To receive materials from suppliers to ensure conformity with specifications, quality and quantity correspond to given specification and storing the same in a safe place;
• To issue materials by ensuring quantity and materials issued correspond with the approved store issuing voucher;
• To post issued vouchers to ensure stock balance corresponds with received/issued items at all times;
• To maintain details of store records and equipment;
• To follow up overdue orders;
• To prepare periodic stock reports;
• To assist in planning of annual stock taking exercise;
• To perform other relevant duties as may be assigned by supervisor

8. The applicant must attach certified copies of academic certificates relevant to the respective position.
9. Certificates from foreign examination bodies for Ordinary or Advanced level education should be verified by The National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA).
10. Professional certificates from foreign universities and other training institutions should be verified by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) and National Council for Technical Education (NACTE).
