JOB DETAILS:
• We are looking for an experienced assistant manager who is customer focused and attentive to our guests’ needs. Working in our 15 bedded Lodge in Dar-Es-Salaam. The lodge serves both local and foreign expatriate communities.

• You will need to have good understanding of English. You will be working under distant supervision of the General Manager based outside Dar-Es-Salaam. So maturity and ability to make critical decisions for the good of the business will be required.

You would need to be;
• Computer literate including using Microsoft Excel, Emails, Financial controller and banking every other day,
• Experienced Supervisor – supervising a total of 10 staff and putting in place appropriate discipline procedures informed by agreed job descriptions,

• Quality assurer- Attentive to aesthetic appearance of the Lodge at all times,

• Manage corporate bookings and invoicing, Engage cost effective repairs- bringing in men/fundis known to the Lodge and ensuring work is done to good standards,

• Improve Housekeeping standards, Improve Food and Beverage profitability (for room guests only).

Working hours:
• Monday to Friday - 9am to 6pm (9 hours) and Saturday -9am to 3pm (6 hours).
• Bank holidays- 50% or more…half day off, or half day pay…

• Total leave days are 4 calendar weeks a year (Taken max of 2 calendar weeks at a time)
• Salary ranges from: TZS 500,000 to TZS 800,000 per month (Net income)
