i.         Collaborate with farmers to run experimental farms and class farms;

    ii.         Visiting farmers / farmer groups on their farms and providing professional advice on best and most modern commercial farming techniques;

   iii.         To train and guide farmers on the best use of fertilizers, pesticides and agricultural implements;

   iv.         Collect and maintain statistics on agricultural conditions in the Village;

    v.         Designing and preparing modern crop storage sheds and providing education on the proper use of crops;

   vi.         To provide information on the symptoms of plant and crop pests;

  vii.         Prepare and use the agricultural register in carrying out its day-to-day responsibilities;

viii.         Participate in the process of creating Opportunities and Obstacles for Development (O & OD) and developing a Village Agricultural Development Plan (VADP), and

ix) Prepare a monthly implementation report to submit to the Ward Extension Officer and a copy to submit to the Village Executive Officer.

Employment of Form Four graduates with a Diploma in Agriculture from Government recognized colleges.
