Key Responsibilities

• Provide consultancy services in the aspect of estimate area, yield and production of various crops in the ongoing season through field based crop surveys and secondary research.
• Liaise with other technical teams to produce detailed reports on:

• Acreage - Report should give detailed farm wise sown area estimates soon after the sowing is completed
• Crop Condition - During the growth phase of the crops, periodic reports on the crop condition in different farm including effect of weather and pest/disease on crop condition
• Crop Yield - Prior to harvest, candidate should publish detailed reports giving the state/district wise yields of the crops with reasoning.
• Coordinate with partner agriculture research institutions to develop, improve or recommend information on varieties of selected field crops with respect to characteristics including efficient production, higher yield, improved quality, adaptation to specific soils or climates, and resistance to diseases and pests.

Advise on best practices pertaining to crop production for planting, cultivation, and harvesting, and make appropriate recommendations to Farmers
