We are looking for an Part-time  Accountant in Tanzania

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping
• Filing of PAYE, social insurance, WHT, VAT, CIT, and other taxes
• Handling the inquiries from clients
• Visiting client’s office and building the relationship with clients
• Managing internal staff
• Verifying the interpretation of the tax act and practical guidelines
• Collecting receipts or uploading receipts to cloud storage
• Consulting and Advisory support of other activities at the request of the Director
• Sales and Marketing

Required profile for job ad : Part-time AccountantEducation qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• Master’s degree will be preferable

Must-have

• Qualified Certified Public Accountant in Tanzania
• ACPA holder
• 3-5 years experience of the finance/accounting/tax matters
• Understanding of the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• TRA online service experience
• Experience of tax filing such as PAYE, WHT, VAT, and CIT, etc.
• Microsoft office skills – Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in Accounting software – QuickBooks is preferable
• Nice to-have
• Building internal control system
• Experiences as internal auditor
• Understanding of international taxes – transfer pricing, thin capitalisation etc.
