Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to manage and support our company’s financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, dependable, and thrives in a structured, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and journal entries

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections

Monitor and reconcile bank statements and financial transactions

Support budgeting and forecasting activities

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements

Coordinate with external auditors during audits and assist in audit preparation

Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making

Maintain and update fixed asset records and depreciation schedules

Support payroll processing and tax filings as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role (typically 2+ years)

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices (GAAP or IFRS)

Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, or similar)

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)

High attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus
