Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant located in Kurasini, Dar es-Salaam. The Accountant will be responsible for managing daily financial operations including bookkeeping, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Key tasks include maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, and conducting regular audits. The role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proficiency in Quickbooks preferred and MS Office
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations in Tanzania (PAYE,SDL,WHT)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in transport or logistics industry is a plus
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
