Job Purpose

Anuarite Investment is seeking energetic and results-driven Sales & Marketing Personnel to join our team as Merchant Recruiters for the Lipa Kwa Simu (LKS) service. The role involves identifying, recruiting, onboarding, reactivating, and managing merchants to ensure active usage of the LKS platform. Personnel will also support branding, rebranding, and merchant conversion activities in line with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Merchant Acquisition & Activation
    • Identify and target potential merchants within predefined sectors and areas of operation.
    • Complete the full onboarding process by collecting and uploading Know Your Merchant (KYM) documents.
    • Educate and train merchants on the benefits and usage of LKS services.
    • Deliver visibility and branding materials to merchants.
    • Provide ongoing support and relationship management to ensure merchants actively transact through the platform.
  2. Merchant Reactivation
    • Identify inactive merchants and engage them through visits or calls to encourage reactivation.
    • Provide updated service information, training, and promotional materials to merchants.
    • Monitor reactivated merchants to ensure continued activity and service usage.
  3. TANQR & Mixx Rebranding
    • Ensure all merchants in the assigned area are fully branded with TANQR and Mixx materials.
    • Deliver branding materials and provide training on TANQR usage and transition processes.
    • Support merchants in actively adopting TANQR codes and related solutions.
  4. Merchant Conversion (KYM Upgrade)
    • Identify and engage low KYM merchants within the area of operation.
    • Educate merchants on the importance of upgrading their KYM status.
    • Collect and submit required KYM documentation (e.g., Business License, TIN certificate) for merchant upgrades.
    • Provide continuous support to merchants to facilitate smooth conversion.

Qualifications & Requirements

    • Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
    • Experience in sales, field marketing, or customer acquisition (experience in mobile money/fintech services is an added advantage).
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently, meet targets, and manage field operations.
    • Must own or have access to an Android smartphone for onboarding processes.
    • Willingness to travel within assigned areas.
