Role Overview

Our Client is seeking a high-impact Executive Vice President (EVP), Sales to spearhead business growth across the Middle East, Turkey, Africa, and Asia-Pacific (APAC) regions. This fully remote leadership role involves driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the partner ecosystem. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role offers equity participation, autonomy, and the opportunity to scale into a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) role.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan focused on telecom operators, ISPs, mobile operators, and service providers across MENAT and APAC.
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle—from prospecting and proposal creation to negotiations and deal closure.
  • Drive net-new revenue by cultivating long-term customer relationships and identifying high-value opportunities.
  • Build strong C-suite relationships (CEOs, CTOs, CIOs, procurement leaders) to influence buying decisions.

Channel & Partner Management

  • Establish and expand partnerships with distributors, resellers, system integrators, and technology allies.
  • Lead joint go-to-market strategies and enablement plans with partners to expand regional market share.
  • Explore and manage strategic alliances, joint selling, and co-marketing initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of senior sales leadership in telecom, networking infrastructure, or cybersecurity.
  • Proven experience selling systems-level solutions (e.g., routers, switches, DPI, firewalls) to Tier-1/Tier-2 telecoms and large enterprises.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Network Intelligence
  • Deep Packet Inspection (DPI)
  • Telecom analytics and architecture
  • Cybersecurity technologies
  • Experience using CRMs (Salesforce or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated success in responding to RFIs/RFPs with tailored commercial and technical proposals.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, especially in simplifying complex concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior leadership roles at companies like:
  • Cisco, Juniper, Huawei
  • Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet
  • Sandvine, Allot Communications, ENEA, F5
  • Established networks with telecom regulators, law enforcement, and government agencies.
  • Experience leading sales support teams, and collaborating closely with application engineers and marketing.
  • Experience in startup or high-growth tech environments; comfort with ambiguity and building from scratch.
  • Skilled at cross-cultural remote sales and international business development.

Deal-Breakers

  • Must have a proven track record of closing large enterprise-level deals in the telecom/ISP space.
  • Professional references will be required to verify historical performance and closed opportunities.

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: USD $120,000 – $180,000
  • Performance Bonus: 10–20% of base
