We are hiring on behalf of a prominent real estate development company based in Dubai, seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to oversee and optimize commercial strategy, planning, and financial performance. This is a full-time, remote opportunity, open to candidates within the EMEA region.

About the Role

As a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for managing all commercial and financial aspects of real estate projects, ensuring profitability, efficiency, and alignment with company goals. You will work closely with development, legal, and sales teams to lead cost planning, contract negotiation, and risk management strategies across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial strategies to support project development and investment goals
• Oversee budgeting, cost control, and forecasting across multiple real estate projects
• Lead contract negotiations and manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and consultants
• Conduct commercial risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to local and international regulations
• Analyze market trends, project costs, and ROI to support executive decision-making
• Manage commercial reporting and present regular updates to senior leadership
• Support business development efforts with commercial insights and feasibility analysis

Requirements

• Proven experience (7+ years) in a commercial or financial role within the real estate development sector
• Strong knowledge of commercial law, real estate contracts, procurement, and cost control practices
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in commercial management software and financial modeling tools
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
