JOB DETAILS:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• • Able to identify and list spare parts that are required for the repairs in a spare part catalogue.
  • Read & understanding equipment operating & repair manuals and execute the works as per manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Diagnose and repair tractors, planters, harvesters, sprayers, irrigation pumps, and other farm equipment’s
  • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and calibration of machinery as per the manufacturer’s recommendations.
  • Fully understanding equipment system operation” such as power train, engine, transmission, hydraulics, brakes, electrics, and monitoring systems.
  • Disassemble and reassemble equipment accessories and components.
  • Ensuring that all items such as technical and machine information, hours spent on repairs Maintenance is properly recorded and filed.
  • Will be requested as and when required to coach, guide & train mechanics
  • Perform any other related duties as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 4 – 6 years working experience in agricultural machinery maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
• Strong super visionary and leadership skills
• Effective communication skill both written and oral.
• Able to use initiative in prioritizing tasks.
• A computer literate especially on Excel, Word and fleet Management.
