Description

We are looking for a motivated Sales Officer to promote and sell agricultural machinery. The role
involves identifying customers, conducting product demos, and meeting sales targets while
supporting farmers with suitable mechanization solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES   

  • Drive sales of agricultural machinery (tractors, planters, sprayers, harrow, etc.) within assigned territories.
  • Identify and engage prospective customers including individual farmers, cooperatives, and agro-dealers.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical support to clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities.
  •  Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the technical, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts.

QUALIFICATIONS   

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Mechanical Engineering, Sales &
    Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in agricultural machinery or equipment.
  • Sound understanding of agricultural practices and machinery operations.
  • Proficient in customer engagement, negotiation, and closing sales.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Technical aptitude for demonstrating machinery features and benefits.
