As their recruitment partner, Albert Bow is excited to present this opportunity for a strategic and dynamic Market Data Services Team Lead.
Responsibilities:
- Designing high-level system architectures for global data dissemination.
- Maximising CPU efficiency and minimising memory cache to boost trading strategies.
- Enhancing data encoding to reduce memory footprint and bandwidth demands.
- Strengthening connectivity to current trading venues and establishing new connections to widen market reach.
- Developing and growing the Engineering team's capabilities.
About you:
- Deep knowledge of market data systems, with traditional finance experience preferred; cryptocurrency market familiarity is advantageous.
- Expertise in network programming, including kernel bypass techniques and various protocols like Websockets, HTTP, TCP/UDP/IP.
- Proficiency in low-level C++ programming and inter-thread/process communication.
- A solid grasp of hardware specifics, including CPUs, memory systems (NUMA), and NICs.
- Extensive Linux system knowledge.
