The CSR Manager plays a critical role in ensuring Plastic Bank’s mission—stopping plastic pollution and ending poverty—translates into tangible, measurable, and meaningful outcomes. This role is responsible for leading impact measurement, driving engagement with collection communities, and strengthening partnerships with organizations that align with our purpose.
The CSR Manager will oversee and develop initiatives that enhance the well-being of our collection communities, ensure ethical and sustainable operations, and amplify the impact of Plastic Bank’s programs globally. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, this role will drive strategic efforts to scale Plastic Bank’s impact and communicate the value of our social and environmental contributions effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Impact Measurement & Reporting
- Develop and implement frameworks for tracking and measuring the social and environmental impact of Plastic Bank’s initiatives.
- Generate insights and data-driven reports to support storytelling, fundraising, and partner communications.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between impact measurement and organizational goals.
- Community Engagement & Advocacy
- Work closely with collection communities to understand their needs and co-create initiatives that enhance their livelihoods.
- Foster engagement programs that empower community members, ensuring their voices are amplified in global sustainability conversations.
- Establish ethical and inclusive engagement strategies that prioritize dignity, respect, and long-term empowerment.
- Partnership Development & Strategic Collaboration
- Build and nurture relationships with NGOs, governments, and corporate partners to advance Plastic Bank’s impact objectives.
- Identify and implement collaborative opportunities that drive scalable, sustainable solutions for social and environmental change.
- Represent Plastic Bank at industry events, conferences, and strategic forums to advocate for systemic change.

Key Milestones
First 3 Months:
- Gain a deep understanding of Plastic Bank’s impact model, key partnerships, and social impact priorities.
- Assess and refine existing impact measurement frameworks.
- Build relationships with collection community leaders and key partners.
First 6 Months:
- Launch data-backed impact reports that support transparency and credibility.
- Implement new engagement initiatives that enhance community well-being.
- Identify and initiate strategic collaborations that align with Plastic Bank’s mission.
Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of experience in CSR management, sustainability, social impact, or related fields.
- Strong background in project leadership, impact measurement, reporting, and data analysis within social or environmental sectors.
- Passion for empowering communities, with hands-on experience in fieldwork, advocacy, or development programs.
- Proven ability to build and manage partnerships with NGOs, corporations, and governmental agencies.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive meaningful change.
- A proactive and strategic thinker, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to scale impact.
