Job Purpose:
The job purpose of a Branch Supervisor typically revolves around ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of their assigned branch while achieving organizational goals.
Responsibilities of a Branch Supervisor
Sales Management
- Oversee and drive sales targets for the branch.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and provide actionable insights for improvement.
- Develop strategies to enhance customer acquisition and retention
Team Supervision
- Manage and guide the branch team, ensuring efficient operations
- Train, motivate, and assess staff to meet performance goals.
- Delegate responsibilities effectively while maintaining accountability
Inventory and Stock Control
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Coordinate with suppliers to maintain inventory accuracy and minimize shortages or overstocking.
- Conduct periodic stock audits
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly.
Operational Efficiency
- Ensure smooth daily operations of the branch by adhering to company policies.
- Optimize processes to improve productivity and reduce costs.
Market Knowledge and Analysis:
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences
- Provide feedback to management for strategic decision-making.
Qualification and Skills Required
- Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills (English and Kiswahili fluently).
- Stress Management: The ability to stay calm, focused, and organized under pressure, especially during busy periods.
- Time Management: Efficient time management skills help cashiers handle multiple tasks, manage queues effectively, and complete transactions in a timely manner.
- Age: 35 years+
- Willing to relocate
Preferred Experience :
- 3-5+ years of experience in a management, leadership role
- A Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent from a recognized institution
