Offsider at Geofields

• • Position Purpose: To assist in ensuring that mining operations run smoothly and efficiently by performing tasks as guided by the immediate supervisor and trainer.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Perform pre-start checks and ensure equipment maintenance.
    • Carry out standard workplace inspections and prepare areas for drilling, installation, and grouting as per mine safety procedures.
    • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and comply with company policies.
    • Report any accidents or injuries immediately and ensure a safe work environment.

Essential Requirements for Both Positions:

• Basic First Aid certification
• Ability to drive with a valid Tanzanian Driver’s License
• Completion of secondary school education
• Basic numeracy and verbal/written English skills
