Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in construction safety.

• Knowledge of Tanzanian OSHA regulations and construction industry safety standards.
• Certification in First Aid and Fire Safety is an advantage.

Job Description
As a Safety (HSSE) Officer, you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing the company’s health, safety, security, and environ- mental policies to ensure a safe work environment for all employees. You will conduct risk assessments, enforce safety regulations, and train staff on safety protocols. You will be expected to inspect the construc- tion site regularly, ensure compliance with OSHA and local regulations, and lead incident investigations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement HSSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance.

• Deliver safety training sessions to employees and subcontractors.
• Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near misses.

• Prepare and maintain safety documentation, including reports and audits.
• Ensure that safety gear and equipment are in good working condition.
