ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE & PLUMBING TECHNICIAN (2 POSITION)
Reports: Maintenance Manager/Facilities Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance & Plumbing Technician with more than two years of experience in hospitality management to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, plumbing, and general facility systems. The candidate will work in a hospitality setting, ensuring that all guest areas, rooms, and public spaces are functioning properly, safe, and compliant with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities,
• Perform routine inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, including lighting, wiring, outlets, and control panels in guest rooms, common areas, and service facilities.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, sewage, and fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and showers.
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance on all electrical and plumbing equipment, such as generators, water heaters, pumps, and HVAC systems, to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
• Address maintenance requests from guests and staff promptly, including resolving issues related to electrical outages, water leaks, clogged pipes, or broken fixtures.
• Ensure all electrical and plumbing systems adhere to health and safety regulations, including fire safety codes, water conservation protocols, and electrical safety standards.
• Respond quickly to emergencies, such as power outages, water leaks, or other urgent maintenance issues, and take corrective action to resolve the situation promptly.
• Assist in implementing energy-saving initiatives by monitoring and optimizing the performance of electrical and plumbing systems to reduce utility costs and environmental impact.
• Install new electrical or plumbing systems or components when required, such as lighting fixtures, outlets, faucets, and piping, ensuring they are properly connected and functional.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for large-scale electrical or plumbing projects, ensuring that work is completed to standards and within budget.
• Maintain accurate records of all electrical and plumbing maintenance work, including repairs, installations, and inspections. Ensure logs are updated and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Keep track of spare parts, tools, and materials needed for electrical and plumbing repairs. Ensure that adequate supplies are available and reorder as necessary.
• Conduct routine inspections of all electrical and plumbing systems in the facility to identify and fix issues before they escalate.
• Work closely with housekeeping, kitchen, and other departments to ensure smooth operations by providing timely support and addressing any facility-related issues that impact their areas.
• Support HVAC maintenance efforts, including diagnosing problems with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and coordinating repairs when needed.
• Assist with other general facility maintenance tasks as needed, including carpentry, painting, or basic repairs, to keep the property in top condition.

Qualifications,
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance and plumbing, preferably in a hospitality or commercial setting.
• Proven knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety codes.
• Experience in plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and sewage management.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and electrical/plumbing schematics.
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment, including power tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to electrical and plumbing systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
