The company has been operating for 8 years. It is looking for a candidate that has a keen eye to detail strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of business and accounting principles. The company is located in Mafinga, Tanzania and the project post is for a full-time position on site.
Job Overview

The company has been operating for 8 years and is now looking for a dynamic ERP IT Officer to achieve it growth goals. The company is located in Mafinga, Tanzania and the project post is for a full-time position on site.
Summary:
The ERP & Digital Officer oversees the implementation and management of digital systems and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software within the organization. The officer ensures seamless integration, user training, and optimization of digital platforms to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Plan projects well ahead with timelines, milestones and material needed
• Emphasis on structures, and putting in place the right systems. Your team needs to function effectively whether or not you are on-ground that day/week
• Collect data and analyze it. Benchmark results, and take action for improvement
• Delegate effectively. Your deputy and team members are resources. Use them.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Bring the company Odoo wise up to date and fully integrate Odoo in the company with all available tools (which make sense)
• Data from actual operations is accurately reflected on our digital platform before the end of each business day (otherwise the day after)
• Analysis of data, as requested by management
• Set up a data collection and storage structure for the company
• SharePoint management
• Implementation of company data and document management policy.
• Company laptops cleaning & maintenance – once per month
• All IT-related topics
• IT training to staff
• Assist colleagues to improve digital skills
• Improvement of operation through digital tools
• Develop SOP’s and other structural documents for the department and revise them on a quarterly basis. Share proposed adjustments with senior management by end of the quarter
• Strategic and R&d Support to management, as required
• Plan projects digitally with timelines, milestones and material needed for department heads
• Coordinates and transfers information to and between departments
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data management is advantageous.
2. Database management skills are crucial
3. Excellent with MS Office and Excel
4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
5. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to support production demands
6. Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work in a team, and good communication skills
