Description

As the Business Development Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our company. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing key relationships, and driving revenue growth. Your strategic thinking and ability to execute will be crucial in positioning our company as a leader in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business development strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other methods.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to foster long-term collaboration.
  • Prepare and present detailed business proposals, contracts, and agreements.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and securing new clients and expanding existing accounts.
  • Work closely with the marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure alignment and support business development initiatives.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business development efforts.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on business development activities, results, and forecasts.

Required profile for job ad : Business Development Director - Dar Es Salaam

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and executing business development strategies.
