Mganga Mfawidhi  Katavi Regional Referral Hospital is announcing to all qualified Citizens to apply for various job positions by Contract for a period of one year. The relevant positions are as follows; -

1.0.  Doctor Class II (Medical Officers) – POSITION 7

1.1 Applicant's Qualifications
Recruitment of Doctoral Degree holders from Universities/Colleges recognized by the Government who completed the "Internship" and obtained registration from the Tanganyika Medical Council (Medical Council of Tanganyika).

1.2 Tasks and responsibilities
a) To do all medical work in the hospital related to various diseases including children's diseases, maternal diseases and normal and emergency surgery.
b) Providing and managing health education as well as improving community health in Districts and Regions or his work area.

c) Investigating, monitoring and preventing disease outbreaks

d) Maintaining statistics and using them as directed in the principles of MTUHA.
e) Planning and evaluating health services in his workplace.
f) Teaching students and employees in the workplace
g) Supervising and directing subordinates
h) Teaching students in health colleges located in his workplace
i) Designing and conducting research and distributing the results

j) Designing and preparing strategies to raise the quality of the service in his field
k) Prepare plans and budget estimates for health services

l) Participate, review and improve health services (medical audit and quality improvement)
m) Provide outreach services in his district/region
n) Work others will be assigned by his head of work related to his education, experience and skills

Applying Instructions

1. The salary level of each position will comply with the National Guidelines issued in July, 2021 regarding the manner of dealing with volunteers in health cadres;
2. The applicant must be a citizen of Tanzania and be at least 18 years old and no more than 45 years old;
3. Each applicant must attach a copy of the Secondary Education and professional certificates required according to the relevant Cadre as described in this announcement;
4. Each Applicant must attach a copy of the birth certificate;
5. Submission of forgery certificates will lead to legal action;
6. The applicant should attach a personal statement (CV) showing experience, phone numbers, his address and that of three (3) guaranteed guarantors.
7. Each Applicant should attach a letter of identification from the Executive of the Village/Street where he/she comes from/lives;
8. The applicant should attach two (2) small photographs (Passport size) to the application letter;
9. The applicant should attach copies of letters from his guarantors with copies of NIDA ID cards.
10. The applicant should be ready to arrange and change the work area according to the needs of the employer.
11. The applicant should be neat and highly disciplined.
12. Applicants whose cadres need to be registered by their professional boards must attach employment certificates and active licenses for cadres who are licensed
13. Applicants who meet the criteria will be called for an interview and those who fail to comply with the conditions of this announcement will not be called;
