Mganga Mfawidhi  Katavi Regional Referral Hospital is announcing to all qualified Citizens to apply for various job positions by Contract for a period of one year. The relevant positions are as follows; -

6.0 Technologist Class II (Radiographer/Radiology) – POSITION 2
6.1 Qualifications of the Applicant
for Employment with a three-year Diploma in Technology in one of the fields mentioned above from a College recognized by the Government and who are registered with the Councils where it is concerned.

6.2 Tasks and responsibilities:
a) Examining patients referred to his work area
b) Taking care of radiology equipment and equipment in his work area
c) Checking X-Ray images measured for quality and satisfaction (diagnostic quality)

d) Taking care of images of patients until the answers reach the  doctors who sent the patients
e) Supervising the staff under him
f) Giving advice on the issues of Radiology and Radiation work in his work area.
g) To prepare medical/diagnostic equipment and manage the cleaning of equipment in his work area (sterilization)

h) To provide initial training to employees who are assigned to work in his work area.

i) To perform other tasks assigned to him by his head of work related to his education, experience and skills

1. The salary level of each position will comply with the National Guidelines issued in July, 2021 regarding the manner of dealing with volunteers in health cadres;
2. The applicant must be a citizen of Tanzania and be at least 18 years old and no more than 45 years old;
3. Each applicant must attach a copy of the Secondary Education and professional certificates required according to the relevant Cadre as described in this announcement;
4. Each Applicant must attach a copy of the birth certificate;
5. Submission of forgery certificates will lead to legal action;
6. The applicant should attach a personal statement (CV) showing experience, phone numbers, his address and that of three (3) guaranteed guarantors.
7. Each Applicant should attach a letter of identification from the Executive of the Village/Street where he/she comes from/lives;
8. The applicant should attach two (2) small photographs (Passport size) to the application letter;
9. The applicant should attach copies of letters from his guarantors with copies of NIDA ID cards.
10. The applicant should be ready to arrange and change the work area according to the needs of the employer.
11. The applicant should be neat and highly disciplined.
12. Applicants whose cadres need to be registered by their professional boards must attach employment certificates and active licenses for cadres who are licensed
13. Applicants who meet the criteria will be called for an interview and those who fail to comply with the conditions of this announcement will not be called;
