JOB DETAILS:
The Supply Chain and Procurement Officer will take a leadership role in executing effective and efficient supply chain and procurement services ensuring values and competencies in maintaining transparency, integrity and compliance with established rules and regulations. Responsible for all procurement, warehouse, logistics and shipping activities with an effort to control costs while also improving efficiency and accuracy in the management of inventory.

Report to: Supply Chain and Procurement Manager
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Procurement
• Assisting with the daily activities of the procurement department.
• Planning for the purchase of equipment, services and supplies.
• Monitoring and enforcing the company’s procurement policies and procedures.
• Reviewing, comparing, evaluating and approving products and services.
• Managing inventories and maintaining accurate records.
• Maintaining and updating supplier information.
• Maintaining good supplier relations.
• Negotiating contracts.
• Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
• Preparing budgets, cost analyses and reports.
Logistics and Asset Management
• Take full responsibility for assets and inventory management of all expendable and non-expendable items under projects
• Facilitate customs clearance of imported supplies, materials, equipment and/or vehicles
• Plan and execute warehouse related resource planning and efficiency meet the anticipated Company goals
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols;
• Maintains receiving, warehousing, and Transfer operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures;
• Maintain records to the various stores keeping records of the items off-loaded and/or loaded at the warehouses. Keep updated records on stack/stock cards, and/or computer inventory lists;
• Observe, enforce and comply to safety requirement.
Fleet
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress & analysis reports on
• Status and allocation of Company vehicle including hired vehicles
• Fuel utilization report
• Tires and batteries utilization
• Ensure that all legal requirements such as inspection certificates and insurance certificates for vehicles are acquired on time.
• Any other related duties as may be assigned by your supervisor
JOB REQUIREMENT
• Degree in Supply chain or equivalent from a recognized institution
• A minimum period of 4 years’ experience in similar positions, preferably in Telecommunication Industry

• Excellent organizational and coordination skills
• Builds strong relationships with clients and external contractors
• Ability to promote integrity and business ethics; demonstrate mature judgment, trust and open communication; ability to ensure effective team work, collaborative behaviour and team spirit
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to persuade and influence others
• Candidates should possess an excellent speaking and writing English skill.
