The Alliance Française of Dar Es Salaam is a Tanzanian non-profit association founded in 1961 and is the French language and cultural centre in Dar es Salaam. It operates with the support of the French Embassy and is located in Upanga. The Alliance Française promotes the teaching and learning of the French language as well as cultural activities and exchanges between artists aimed at the Tanzanian audience.

Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a French Teacher in Zanzibar. The French Teacher will be responsible for teaching the French language, providing tutoring sessions, and delivering education in a classroom setting. The role may also include teacher training activities. The role is remote from the Alliance Française of Dar Es Salaam whom you will report.

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching and/or Degree in Education
• Be aware of the current and modern teaching methods of languages
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English
• Ability to work independently and remotely
