Tanzania Commercial Bank seeks to appoint dedicated, self-motivated and highly organized Manager Trade Finance and Transactional Banking to join the Directorate of Corporate Banking.

Position Objective
Manager Trade Finance and transactional Banking is responsible for controlling and managing the risk of the Trade and Transaction Banking portfolio and ensure a high quality of credit and services, she/he will also lead the team to deliver through creation of a high performance environment.

Responsibilities

To develop and lead the execution of Trade and Transaction Banking Strategy as part of the overall Corporate Banking Directorate strategy;
Direct ongoing product development and management strategy through developing product strategy, implementing products successfully and developing product end-state proposition;
Build and manage trade products portfolio that positions Corporate Banking Directorate to generate revenues that consistently exceed set targets;
Support relationship teams to procure/recruit, nurture and sustain new Trade Transaction Banking relationships that have a potential to grow and provide superior returns
Support relationship teams to procure/recruit, nurture and sustain new Trade Transaction Banking relationships that have a potential to grow and provide superior returns;
Maintain a productive working relationship with relevant departments to ensure sufficient sales, system and operational support for Trade and Transaction Banking Business development and also agree on and meet proper control measures, clear guidelines and business performance indicators;
Control and manage the risk of the Trade and Transaction Banking portfolio to ensure maintenance of a high quality credit and services profile through adherence to risk management policies and procedures;
Maintain risk alertness, recognize and respond promptly to adverse business cycles or early warning signals within the Transaction Banking Team to consistent deliver greed targets through the creation of a high-performance environment; and
To carry out any other related duties as assigned by Supervisor.

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

Education: Holder of Master’s Degree in one of the following fields; Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics, Commerce or Business Administration majoring in Accountancy or Finance, Entrepreneurship or equivalent qualifications from any recognized Institution. Must have at least eight (8) years’ working experience in banking industry or financial institution.
