Position Overview: We are seeking an innovative and results-driven Credit Product Manager to join our company in Tanzania. As a Credit Product Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing credit products that cater to the needs of our customers while aligning with our business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, launch, and optimize credit offerings that promote financial inclusion and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Product Strategy and Development:
• Define the credit product roadmap, identifying market opportunities, customer segments, and key features that differentiate our offerings.
• Work closely with senior management, data analysts, and user experience designers to translate market insights into compelling product concepts.
• Requirements Definition:
• Gather and document detailed requirements for credit products, outlining features, user experience, technical specifications, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with technology and design teams to ensure a smooth development and launch process.
• Market Analysis and Research:
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback collection to inform product strategy and identify trends.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices related to credit products in Tanzania.
• Lending Strategy Alignment:
• Collaborate with credit risk managers, underwriters, and loan managers to ensure credit products are aligned with responsible lending practices and risk management strategies.
• Product Launch and Lifecycle Management:
• Plan and execute successful product launches, including marketing campaigns, training materials, and customer communications.
• Monitor product performance and customer feedback, iterating and optimizing products based on insights and data.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with marketing, sales, compliance, and technology teams to ensure seamless product integration and effective go-to-market strategies.
• Collaborate with customer support to address inquiries, feedback, and concerns related to credit products.
• Performance Measurement and Reporting:
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for credit products and regularly assess their performance against targets.
• Generate reports and presentations to communicate product performance to stakeholders and senior management.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• A minimum of [X] years of experience in product management, preferably within the fintech or financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of credit products, lending processes, and customer needs in Tanzania.
• Experience with agile product development methodologies and project management.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools, market research techniques, and product management software.
