As a Junior Developer – Intern, you will have the opportunity to work with Tanzania's leading wholesale distributor of agriculture inputs.

Your role will be to support the development team in building and maintaining software solutions that facilitate the company's day-to-day operations and contribute to its growth plans. Responsibilities:

• Assist the development team in designing, coding, testing, and debugging software applications.
• Collaborate with senior developers to understand project requirements and contribute to the development of efficient and scalable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Support the implementation and integration of software systems with existing infrastructure.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software defects and issues.
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to contribute innovative ideas and solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, to gather requirements and provide technical support.
• Document software designs, functionality, and processes for future reference.
• Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality work within given deadlines.
• Maintain a strong focus on learning and acquiring new skills to enhance professional growth.

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of software development principles and concepts.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Knowledge of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and debug code.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn and contribute to the success of the organization.
• Prior experience with software development projects (academic or personal) is advantageous.
