About the job
Perform maintenance and repairs on all plant equipment to ensure effective and efficient operation of plantMain Accountabilities:
- To perform planned preventive, predictive, corrective maintenance on all plant equipment and buildings.
- To perform emergency maintenance activities on all plant equipment and building
- Identify, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic problems on plant facilities.
- To perform routine inspection to assess general condition of plant equipment and to identify lubricant, product, air ,steam and other leakages.
- To update all activities undertaking during the shift in the CMMS.
- Team up with production operators in running the plant
- Maintain housekeeping standard during maintenance to ensure a clean and safe workplace
- Strictly follow and ensure plant safety
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Plant mechanical downtime is maintain to the minimum <4%
- Wrench time of any activity is not 10% more than accepted wrench time for the activity
- Daily labours hours is CMMS 80% or more.
- % Job Completion in CMMS for the month is 90% or more.
- Major Opportunities and Decisions:
- Work environment is an Atex zone. Major decision is on how to work safely.

Technical Skills
- Understand equipment functionality in relation to operation and production
- In-depth experience in rotating equipment maintenance.
- Have knowledge in pneumatic/hydraulic equipment
- Have knowledge in pipe and valve repairs
- Ability to use CCMS software for reporting.

Education/Experience:
- HND Mechanical Engineering (Plant Option) or Mechanical Engineering Part 3 (Plant option)
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in oil and fat industry
