Medexec are a global executive search consultancy, hiring talented execs for MedTechs.

Our partner is an early-stage diabetes company that have disrupted the market and recently successfully received an oversubscribed funding round to expand the organisation in to International markets.

We are in search an entrepreneurial and visionary Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead the global business development initiatives. As the CRO, you will play a critical role in developing and executing strategies to expand the business into global markets focused on EMEA and LATAM.

The role focuses on maximizing revenue opportunities, and establish the brand in strategic markets. This is a unique opportunity for a strategic leader with a passion for healthcare and a proven track record in driving revenue growth in start-up environments.

Responsibilities:

Global Business Development Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global business development strategy to penetrate new markets, identify revenue opportunities, and establish our presence in the diabetes medical industry.
  • Define clear goals, metrics, and action plans to track and measure the success of the business development initiatives.

Revenue Generation and Sales:

  • Drive revenue growth by effectively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities globally.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and sales enablement initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, healthcare providers, distributors, and other stakeholders to enhance business opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.

Brand Building and Market Expansion:

  • Develop and execute strategies to establish our brand as a trusted and innovative player in the diabetes medical industry.
  • Lead the expansion into new global markets, evaluating market entry strategies, local regulations, and partnerships or distribution networks.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Build, lead and inspire a high-performing team responsible for global business development, sales, and revenue generation.

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Contribute to the overall strategic planning process by providing insights, recommendations, and revenue forecasts.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align revenue generation strategies with overall business objectives and growth targets.

Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, healthcare providers, industry influencers, and potential partners to drive business expansion and revenue growth.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and expand our network.

Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior commercial leadership role, driving revenue growth and business expansion in EMEA/LATAM in the medical device industry, preferably within the diabetes medical field.
  • Deep understanding of global market dynamics, healthcare industry trends, and regulatory considerations.
  • Strong track record in strategic planning, business development, and revenue generation in start-up or high-growth environments.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and resource-constrained start-up environment.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
