Learn more about ABL at abl.africa.We are looking for a strong business-minded leader to partner with us to deliver the ABL course to business leaders in, but not limited to, Dar es Salam, Tanzania. As a Chapter Head, you'll be responsible for marketing, selling, delivering, and supporting ABL in elected geographic locations. You will serve as the point contact for local clients, ensuring quality educational delivery, coaching, feedback and support throughout their learning journey.The Chapter Head position provides an individual with the opportunity to work for themselves with the support of a pan-African team and operate autonomously within their region, with no upper limit to their earning potential.Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the planning and execution of the Acumen for Business Leaders courses in specific geographic locations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, with the support of Head Office.
  • Engage with clients to provide coaching, feedback and support throughout their learning journey.
  • Coordinate and drive marketing and sales activities for the course, including events to promote the course to potential clients.
  • Engage corporates, NGOs/NPOs and other organisations to deliver leadership development plans and win-win deals.
  • Secure local financing partnerships to lower the financial barriers for clients.
  • Manage and oversee a chapter scholarship programme for suitable candidates.
  • Analyse and deliver reporting on marketing, sales, participation, and retention rates to ensure course performance is on track with KPIs.
  • Report to Head Office on chapter progress and performance.
  • Collaborate with the content team to ensure continuous improvement of course material and experience.

Requirements

  • Significant experience managing and overseeing a business with at least US$5m in topline.
  • Senior management experience spanning at least 10 years.
  • Business or personal development coaching experience is preferred.
  • Highly networked and connected in the elected region.
  • Ability to work as a team player and can work collaboratively with instructors and other stakeholders.
  • Drawn to the world of training and human development with a passion for local business and business in Africa.
  • Actively seeking an exciting challenge that involves personal growth and making a positive impact on people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive attitude and ability to work under pressure.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in managing and leading a team.
